About The Position

This role is for a TS/SCI cleared ServiceNow Portal Developer - Senior, supporting Peraton's mission-critical team. The team focuses on secure, real-time data delivery across complex operational environments for national security and warfighters, specifically in C2ISR capabilities, sensor integration, and resilient data transport solutions. The developer will provide technical and management leadership for equipment and information support functions across the Task Order, leading ServiceNow portal development, feature design, workflow automation, and modernization efforts. They will also define technical architecture and strategic roadmap, design and implement portal modules, enforce coding standards, evaluate emerging technologies, oversee system integrations, and act as a technical expert and mentor. The position is located in the greater Tampa, FL area with 2 days of telework.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a ServiceNow Portal Developer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the C CMD level
• Minimum of 12 years w/o a degree or 10 years with AS/AA or 8 years’ experience with BS/BA or 6 years’ experience with MS/MA or 4 years’ experience with PhD.
• A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
• US citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
• Plans and leads major technical assignments.
• May supervise others.
• Leads ServiceNow portal development across the TO, ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with operational needs.
• Directs feature design, workflow automation, and modernization efforts.
• Plays a lead role in defining the technical architecture and strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow portal, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with overarching program objectives.
• Leads the design and implementation of portal modules and features, including automated reporting processes; dashboards for financial forecasts/reporting, libraries for Trip Reports, Travel/Purchasing Requests, PRD Awards; and metrics for government stakeholder meetings (e.g., MSR, TSM.).
• Establishes and enforces coding standards, best practices, and security protocols for the development team.
• Evaluates emerging technologies and recommends their adoption to enhance Task order portal functionality, efficiency, and user experience.
• Oversees the integration of the ServiceNow portal with required external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compliance with data transfer policies.
• Functions as a technical expert for critical task order portal components, providing guidance and mentorship to junior and journeyman developers.
• Ensures that the ServiceNow portal's capabilities support the generation and submission of required deliverables, including quarterly updates to the Electronic Contract File.
