About The Position

This position is available to be filled at any Huntington Corporate office location (see location options on posting) Summary: The ServiceNow Platform Engineer provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. Provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications. Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support. Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends. May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff. May serve as project leader for specific projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow platform engineering or related technical experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience with ServiceNow best practices and understand the best solutions to remediate technical debt in the Now platform

Nice To Haves

• Configuration and modification of the ServiceNow platform in the following areas IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Intelligent Apps, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM)
• Familiarity with the User Experience Tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences
• Knowledge and Experience working with Web Services, REST, JSONv2

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications
• Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform
• Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
• Maintain and improve the overall stability of the platform ensuring best practices are identified and incorporated into the platform
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Provide training and knowledge across the platform to our internal team and external business partners
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform wide reporting
