About The Position

ServiceNow IT Project Manager Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as the ServiceNow IT Project Manager. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT The ServiceNow IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering ServiceNow platform projects that align with organizational goals. This role leads cross-functional teams to implement, enhance, and optimize ServiceNow solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and the ServiceNow ecosystem. Other responsibilities include the need to: Lead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, administrators, business analysts, and external vendors Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation Facilitate Agile ceremonies or traditional project governance processes as appropriate Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational standards Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques; provide regular status updates to stakeholders Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting Support change management and user adoption initiatives Ensure quality assurance and compliance with security and regulatory requirements. The Project/Task Manager must have: Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field Certification: PMP Experience: 5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 2+ years managing ServiceNow projects Required skills: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Desired Skills: Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission Knowledge and familiarity with USCENTCOM’s IT environment ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certification Experience working in government or highly regulated environments Familiarity with integration tools, APIs, and automation within the ServiceNow platform Security clearance level: TS w/SCI Eligibility US citizenship required GDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • PMP
  • 5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 2+ years managing ServiceNow projects
