About The Position

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for developing custom flows and integrations using the ServiceNow platform. You will be partnering with product owners, project managers, and other developers to design, develop, and maintain solutions that meet the needs of our organization. You will be working in a scrum-based process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within tight timelines. In this role, you will be focused on the service request and employee center applications of ServiceNow. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom flows and integrations specific to these modules. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to less experienced developers, participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability, and troubleshoot issues to provide support to end-users. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on the service request and employee center modules. You should have experience with ServiceNow scripting languages such as JavaScript, Glide, and Jelly, as well as experience with ServiceNow APIs and integrations with third-party systems. You should be familiar with agile development methodologies and have strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Additionally, excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow service request and employee center applications
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages such as JavaScript, Glide, and Jelly
  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs and integrations with third-party systems
  • Experience with agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and implementing custom ServiceNow flows and integrations for the service request and employee center modules
  • Collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand business requirements and design solutions specific to service request and employee center needs
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to less experienced developers
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability for the service request and employee center modules
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing support to end-users for the service request and employee center modules
  • Staying up-to-date with ServiceNow features and best practices to continuously improve the platform and develop innovative solutions for the service request and employee center modules
