Great Hill is seeking a ServiceNow Architect in Washington, DC. This position supports a government client by providing strategic oversight and effective management of IT resources. The office promotes collaboration, transparency, and data-driven decision-making to ensure IT investments align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable value to the mission.

  • Engage stakeholders to gather business requirements and analyze Oracle functionalities, processes, and data models to inform ServiceNow solutions.
  • Serve as the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Platform Architect for ServiceNow engagements, proposing, designing, and leading SPM solution delivery based on client requirements.
  • Partner with clients to understand long-term enterprise goals, assess how ServiceNow SPM capabilities integrate with their application ecosystem, and develop a strategic roadmap to advance organizational objectives.
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality SPM technical solutions, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and adherence to ServiceNow best practices and standards.
  • Design and implement robust data migration strategies from Oracle to ServiceNow, maintaining data integrity throughout the process.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
  • Provide training and develop clear documentation to support user adoption of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Remain current on ServiceNow features, best practices, and release updates to ensure optimal platform utilization.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional ServiceNow certifications strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex ServiceNow SPM implementations involving multiple stakeholders, with a track record of recommending and implementing solutions that drive exceptional outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database structures and functionality.
  • Experience in a client-facing role within a professional services organization, designing and delivering solutions to market.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with strong client engagement and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and proactive communication skills; able to present technology as a business enabler.
  • Self-starter with adaptability to evolving project requirements.
  • Effective communicator, able to build relationships across all organizational levels, including technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Reliable in meeting tight deadlines, with high attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining clear customer expectations throughout the engagement lifecycle.
