We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven ServiceMax Product Management Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about product management and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Product Management Intern, you will work closely with the product management team, R&D team, and other cross-functional stakeholders assisting in understanding customer needs, identifying new use cases for product opportunities, analyzing customer trends, and timing dependent experiencing a product release.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidates are currently pursuing a Masters degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in product management and technology.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across different departments.
  • Eagerness to learn, take on new challenges, and problem solve
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Jira, Qlik, or other product management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Product Development: Support the product management team in identifying new use cases that we should focus on in an upcoming product release.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on customer needs, industry trends, and competitor products to inform product decisions and roadmaps.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and finance teams with input to enhance product projects
  • Support Product Launch: (timing dependent) Participate in product launch activities
  • Customer Engagement: Assist with process for customer feedback collection, surveys, and interviews to understand their pain points on specific areas of the product. Data analysis to analyze the feedback to identify areas of improvement to shape product features.
  • Reporting: Help streamline reporting to give product management better insights into customers and offering trends
