About The Position

Service Writer We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will be responsible for communicating with customers, scheduling service appointments, and creating work orders for our technicians. The hours for this position are 8 am - 5 pm with rotating Saturdays.

Requirements

Prior experience in a service writer or customer service role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Valid driver's license
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR and background check.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers to understand their service needs
Schedule service appointments and ensure timely completion of work
Create work orders for technicians and ensure accuracy of information
Communicate with technicians to ensure that they have all necessary information to complete the job
Work closely with the service team to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
Provide estimates for service work and communicate with customers regarding pricing and timeframes
Communicate with customers throughout the service process, keeping them informed of any changes or updates
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers are satisfied with their experience
Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
Follow up with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with the service they received
Maintain accurate records of service work and customer interactions
Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure efficient service operations
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies
