About The Position

This position develops and delivers technical training programs to Kubota dealers, customers, and employees. In this role you will leverage your knowledge of outdoor power, agricultural, and construction equipment to develop and facilitate instruction for adult learners. The Service Training Instructor will be working closely with both technical and field service personnel to deliver instruction for Kubota Dealer Service staff. The instructional approach varies from classroom instructor-led training, self-paced learning modules, hands-on application in our Kubota University (KU) Training Facility, and more!

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Agriculture or similar field preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 3 years of professional experience in technical instruction.
  • 3 years+ applying adult learning principles (ADDIE, etc.) and presenting instructor lead and virtual-based training programs for a technical service audience.
  • Facilitate instruction to adult learners in operational, and/or technical contexts.
  • Safely and effectively operate outdoor power, agricultural, and construction equipment.
  • Track learning utilizing a corporate learning management systems (LMS).
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% during peak training season.

  • Develop eLearning programs utilizing Articulate, Captivate, etc., preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver effective technical training programs to positively impact dealers, customers, and company personnel as it relates to repairing and maintaining Kubota products.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, subject-matter experts, and third-party suppliers to design, develop, analyze, and update our technical curriculum as outlined in the ADDIE process.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify potential training programs, helping prioritize these opportunities working with Kubota University leaders.
  • Participate in the evaluation and continual improvement of training programs, including administrative tasks related to training development and delivery.
  • Collaborate with division personnel to maintain training assets such as the Kubota University (KU) Training Facility & relevant tools/equipment utilized throughout the training programs.
  • Research, recommend, and participate in professional development activities as related to the to continually grow professional capabilities.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
