About The Position

The Service-to-Sales Associate is responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting service customers into new or pre-owned vehicle buyers through the service drive. This role focuses on equity mining, lifecycle vehicle replacement, and vehicle acquisition opportunities using customer-pay service repair orders. The associate works closely with both the Service and Sales departments to deliver a seamless customer experience while driving incremental vehicle sales and purchases.

Requirements

  • Automotive dealership experience preferred (Service, Sales, BDC, or Equity Mining roles)
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and dealership software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to follow-up
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage the daily service appointment log to identify qualified sales and trade-in opportunities
  • Proactively contact and engage customer-pay service customers regarding vehicle upgrade, trade-in, or vehicle purchase opportunities
  • Utilize service-to-sales equity tools, CRM, and vehicle history data to present compelling, data-driven offers
  • Convert service customers into: New vehicle purchases, Pre-owned vehicle purchases, Vehicle purchases where the customer sells their vehicle to the dealership
  • Coordinate closely with Sales Management to structure deals and ensure smooth transitions from service to sales
  • Track customer activity, follow-ups, and outcomes accurately in the CRM
  • Monitor and support be-backs for sold customers over a 90-day period
  • Maintain compliance with dealership processes and customer experience standards
