About The Position

Advanced Chevrolet of Bridgeview is looking for a motivated, customer‑focused Service‑to‑Sales / In‑House Buyer to join our growing Buying Center and sales operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, evaluating vehicles, and helping create buying opportunities — whether the customer is selling their vehicle outright, trading it in, or simply gathering an offer. You will work closely with management, buyers, and sales teams to ensure customers are thoroughly assisted from start to finish while supporting both vehicle acquisitions and sales traffic.

Requirements

Automotive, service advisor, or sales experience preferred (but not required)
Strong communication and customer‑service skills
Comfortable using computer systems and mobile tools
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
Willingness to learn vehicle appraisals and buying processes
Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Automotive, service advisor, or sales experience preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers interested in selling or trading their vehicle
Conduct vehicle walk‑arounds and initial appraisals
Take high‑quality photos, gather VINs, and enter vehicle details into appraisal systems (VAuto, inspections, etc.)
Assist with valuation discussions and help present offers to customers
Work with buyers and managers to maximize purchase opportunities
Support customers who choose to transition from selling their vehicle to purchasing one
Ensure all customers are handled professionally and thoroughly, regardless of outcome
Help build trust, reviews, and repeat business through a strong customer experience
