We're currently seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team in Lafayette, IN . In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing commercial soft serve equipment, grills, and ovens at customer locations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get out of working outdoors conditions or tired of crawling through attics, plus, we pay for driving time. What You'll Love About Working At MEC: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour to start (Based on Experience) including drive time and eligibility for a raise after 90 days. Ideal Candidate: 2+ years of service technician experience required. Experience with other technical roles will be considered. Experience working with refrigerants strongly preferred. Mechanical aptitude a must, commercial foodservice equipment experience is a plus! Valid driver's license and good driving record. High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training and/or EPA Universal Card is a plus! Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work alone and with others. Like ice cream and slushes! Requirements

2+ years of service technician experience required. Experience with other technical roles will be considered.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work alone and with others.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with refrigerants strongly preferred.
