About The Position

1515 Surf Apartments is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join their team. The Service Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. This role requires availability for after-hours emergency situations, night/weekend call duty, and the ability to work during inclement weather.

Requirements

1 to 3 years' experience in Community Management
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, elevators, and energy management systems
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Experience using Yardi or other Property Management Software
Ability to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Availability to assist in after-hours emergency situations
Availability for night/weekend call duty
Ability to work during inclement weather
Willingness to work weekends
Plumbing/Electrical skills
Active HVAC Certification & experience

Responsibilities

Perform various maintenance functions necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community
Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor
Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.
Accompany vendors in occupied units for services, including but not limited to pest control, property inspections, etc.
Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices
Perform plumbing/electrical tasks
Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms
Perform appliance repairs
Conduct roofing inspection/minor roof repairs
Perform HVAC repairs
