As a Splash Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art car wash facilities—everything from water reclamation and chemical delivery systems to motor control centers, high-pressure plumbing, and tunnel equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on commercial or industrial trade experience such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, controls, etc.
  • Strong preference for 4+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience (480V 3-phase, motor controls, VFDs, PLC troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Proven ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a “fix it right the first time” mindset
  • Solid communication skills—able to explain technical issues to non-technical team members
  • Comfort working on ladders, in pits, and in wet environments
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel regionally ~10% and flexibility for occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to be on-call and work nights/weekends when required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with car wash equipment, water reclamation, or high-pressure pumping systems
  • Formal electrical or mechanical certification/training
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley or similar PLC platforms
  • Welding/fabrication skills

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and control system issues
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance with ownership and urgency
  • Collaborate daily with Installation Teams, store-level Operations, vendors, and leadership
  • Proactively plan work to minimize downtime and repeat failures
  • Document work, parts used, root cause, and resolution in our service platform
  • Stay calm and decisive in high-pressure situations (busy Saturdays, weather events, etc.)
  • Occasionally respond to after-hours emergencies and work flexible schedules (nights/weekends as needed)
