About The Position
YESCO Houston South is seeking a qualified Service Technician to repair and maintain exterior electrical, non-electrical signs, and lighting systems. The role requires operating aerial equipment, possessing knowledge of electrical issues, accurately documenting work orders, and effectively communicating with customers and company sales representatives. Both Apprentice and Journeyman candidates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Be a self starter with good organization skills, a can do positive attitude and attention to detail while working with minimal supervision
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to operate a 50′ bucket truck
- Capable of completing minor / major sign and lighting service repairs consistent with specifications and electrical codes
- Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Flexible to work overtime as needed
- Have Apprentice or Journeyman License
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Familiarity with smart phones and tablets
- Must be safety oriented
Nice To Haves
- 1-5+ years of electrical/sign service repair experience preferred
