Solenis is a 2025 Best Managed Company Gold Standard honoree. The Service Technician will support the sales and service efforts in the Green Bay/Appleton Area. They will also be responsible for conducting basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers and process monitoring in paper and pulp mills. They will be required to keep detailed records of inventory, report out results, and work safely.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales and service efforts in the Green Bay/Appleton Area
  • Conduct basic lab tests
  • Perform maintenance and installation of equipment
  • Perform chemical transfers and process monitoring in paper and pulp mills
  • Keep detailed records of inventory
  • Report out results
  • Work safely
  • Perform routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation
  • Interface with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment
  • Manage product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks
  • Adjust chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring
  • Alert the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
  • Spec out, set up, maintain and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment
  • Work with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance
  • Complete mechanical and electrical equipment repairs
