We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team at Basement Systems of Indiana. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various basement waterproofing and foundation repair systems. Requirements

  • 1+ years of service experience preferred but not required.
  • Construction experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to enter a crawlspace, lift up to 75 pounds, walk, climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl.
  • A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
  • Skill in operating computer software.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service calls to diagnose issues with basement waterproofing, foundation repair, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling systems.
  • Execute repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring the longevity and optimal performance of installed systems.
  • Communicate with customers professionally, explaining service procedures, addressing concerns, and providing recommendations for preventive maintenance.
  • Accurately document service activities, including diagnosis, repairs performed, and parts used, in company records and computerized systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate service schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of service calls.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe work environment for yourself, colleagues, and customers.
  • Continuously expand knowledge and skills through training opportunities provided by the company to stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and product developments.
