About The Position

Team Auto Group is looking for a B-Level Automotive Technician to join our high-volume Chevrolet GMC dealership. We need a reliable, productive tech who can handle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance with minimal supervision. The Automotive Service Technician (B-Level) is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. This role requires the ability to work independently on a wide range of automotive systems while maintaining quality, efficiency, and adherence to manufacturer standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
  • Ability to perform diagnostics and repairs independently
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and service equipment
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Dealership experience preferred; GM experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC
  • Conduct routine maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues
  • Complete repair orders with proper documentation of work performed
  • Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and correctly to minimize comebacks
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members regarding repair status
  • Assist with more complex repairs under the guidance of senior technicians as needed
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

  • Hourly pay range: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and productivity
