About The Position

This position is responsible for the daily functions related to inspections, maintenance, and repair of turf and professional mowing equipment, used for golf courses, resorts, and athletic fields. The individual will perform all duties per Revels policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of automotive repair, electronics, and/or welding required
Experience working cooperatively in a team environment
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing
Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities

Nice To Haves

One year of familiarity with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
Formal vocational or post-secondary training in diesel technology or equipment mechanics preferred

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
Consult equipment operating manuals, schematics, and drawings
Perform scheduled maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating parts
Diagnose and identify malfunctions using computerized tools and equipment
Inspect, repair, and replace defective or worn parts, such as bearings, pistons, and gears
Overhaul and test major components, such as engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Dissemble and reassemble equipment and components
Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on-time submittal of information
May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
Operates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
Other duties as requested/assigned
