About The Position

Hi Tech Luxury Imports is looking for an Automotive Service Technician for our Austin, TX location. We employ Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Lotus, Maserati, Porsche, and Rolls-Royce certified technicians. Job Summary: An Automotive Technician, fixes, inspects, and maintains Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Lotus, Maserati, Porsche, and/or Rolls-Royce vehicles. Main duties include using tools to identify and diagnose potential issues with a customer’s vehicle, explain problems with the vehicle to the customer and perform maintenance on the vehicles to fix or prevent them from future breakdowns or issues.

Requirements

Understanding of automotive systems.
Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tools including power tools.
Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
Ability to provide friendly customer service.
Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred.
Working knowledge of state inspection guidelines, particularly those concerning emissions and safety, is advantageous.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
ASE certifications required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Repair brake and steering systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
Must read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Other duties as assigned.
