As a Service Technician you will repair and maintain Trimble products, provide technical support for Trimble distribution partners and customers, and conduct technical training meetings. Requirements

  • 2 yr. Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • High School Graduate
  • Experience with diagnosing and repairing electromechanical devices
  • Familiar with basic electronic theory and electronic test equipment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Capable of understanding and following written guidelines and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products.
  • Capable of working with limited supervision.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Experience conducting instructor-led technical training seminars

Responsibilities

  • Complete repairs of Trimble products within established repair times
  • Read, understand, and follow repair instructions, service guidelines, and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products.
  • Attend service training in both formal class room and “On the Job” bench training environments.
  • Clean product to meet cosmetic standards required for customer satisfaction.
  • Attendance (Reliable)
  • Accountable for documenting part numbers and quantity consumed for repairs.
  • Obtain and maintain a less than 1% product repair return rate.
  • Achieve established productivity matrices.
  • Facilitate instructor-led Technical Training Courses
