About The Position

Our service team is a fast pace commercial food service company looking for a new team member.

Our company is looking for experienced Service Technicians to be responsible for handling repairs and customer service. You will be handling face-to-face field communications, such as working with customers and vendors. You will also be responsible for managing your updating paperwork, collecting payments as needed, and performing other general service duties and responsibilities. HVAC/R. Appliance Repair is a plus but not needed.

Requirements

• Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions.
• Experience as Commercial Equipment Technician, HVAC Technician, or related field.
• Warm personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Good time management and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to differentiate colors and symbols in fine print and wires.
• Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to work well and efficiently in a fast-past environment.
• Must be able to work overtime: after five p.m. and on weekends.
• Attend training schools locally and/or out of town, possibly over the weekend, to continue education.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods if necessary, up to 4 hours.
• Must know how to read wiring diagrams and properly use a volt-ohm- meter.

Responsibilities

• Handling customers, vendors, and manufacturers on a daily basis.
• Operating and being responsible for a company vehicle.
• Knowledge of operating an iPad, email, and cellphone.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently alone.
• Must follow all safety procedures as instructed.
• Must have trade basic tools.
• TEMCO offers a tool purchase program and a required tool list.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods, if necessary, up to 4 hours.
• Must be able to work overtime: after five p.m. and on weekends.
• Must continue education and attend training schools locally and/or out of town, possibly over the weekend, to continue education.
