The Service Technician, reporting to the Service Manager, is responsible for achieving a high level of customer satisfaction by performing routine and preventative maintenance as well as repair work on welding and mechanical equipment for CM2 Supply customers. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and welder calibration and certification either at customer facilities or at the company's service center. Key tasks include disassembling and inspecting welders, checking various components like drive rolls and gas flow, cleaning equipment, verifying meter readings, performing resistance tests, verifying serial numbers, and calibrating wire feed speed. The technician is also expected to update job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional publications, document all service and installation actions, and order replacement parts.
