Currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field and Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Based in Des Moines, Iowa, our company values expertise, dedication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional services to our clients. As a Field and Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our roofing and carpentry projects. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in roofing installation, possess strong carpentry skills, and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with our Production Manager and Roofing teams.
Requirements
- Previous roofing installation experience with comprehensive knowledge of various roofing systems.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work comfortably at varying roof pitches and heights.
- Dependability, punctuality, and strong time management skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude and a positive, professional demeanor when interacting with homeowners.
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and a team player.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Clean driving record and a valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Conduct roofing repairs, fascia/soffit repairs, and leak mitigation.
- Execute window repairs and demonstrate proficiency in carpentry skills.
- Inspect and identify issues for proper repair.
- Review scope of work for materials needed and ensure accurate documentation.
- Complete daily paperwork and work orders promptly.
