About The Position

We are seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, completing repairs, and coordinating service for petroleum equipment and related operating systems. The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter who works well independently, demonstrates strong mechanical and technical expertise, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. We’re open to candidates ranging from entry-level technicians who are eager to learn to experienced professionals with CDL, Tanker, and Hazmat certifications. For candidates who hold a CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, the vac truck will be operated in a backup operator and on-call capacity only. This position is primarily a Service Technician role, with the majority of time spent performing service, maintenance, and repair work rather than driving duties.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass company-paid drug and DOT physical
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Willingness to respond to service calls when needed

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and repair petroleum equipment and related systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running properly
  • Respond to service calls and occasional emergencies
  • Operate the vac truck in a backup and on-call capacity (CDL/Tanker/Hazmat holders only)
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and correctly
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Complete service paperwork accurately and on time
  • Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working order
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Help out with other tasks as needed
