About The Position

The Service Repair Technician is responsible for repairing various types of power equipment, including chain saws, mowers, and string trimmers. Beyond repair duties, the technician will also manage merchandise displays by restocking and fronting items to maintain a clean, neat, and attractive appearance. A key aspect of this role involves providing excellent customer service, which includes assisting customers with their needs, such as safely carrying large merchandise items to their cars. The position requires a team-oriented individual committed to the company's mission of Helpfulness and Service, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and extended hours during peak periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience with power equipment/small engine repair
• Stihl Silver Certification required
• Good organizational skills
• Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service
• Availability must be flexible, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends when needed and extended hours during peak times

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Repair various types of power equipment, such as chain saws, mowers, string trimmers, etc.

• Front merchandise to keep displays clean, neat and attractive
• Assist customers with various needs such as offering to carry large merchandise items to customer's cars, etc., and do so safely
