Requirements

  • Property management maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
  • We are seeking candidates who understand apartment community operations and resident service standards.
  • Residential property management, hotel, or equivalent maintenance experience
  • Strong hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and pool maintenance
  • A resident-first mindset with excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Availability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Nice To Haves

  • EPA Type II or Universal certification (preferred); CPO certification is a plus
  • Comfort using technology such as Outlook and property management platforms (e.g., SuiteSpot)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues in apartment homes, exterior areas, and common spaces — including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, pools, and general carpentry
  • Prepare apartment homes for new residents efficiently and in accordance with IMT quality standards
  • Maintain community grounds daily to ensure outstanding curb appeal
  • Utilize IMT-provided tools and systems to complete work orders and track progress
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and Community Manager on property initiatives
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address emergency maintenance needs
