About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is an important member of the facility maintenance team working alongside other technicians and the Director of Plant Operations. The technician is responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, physical environment for patients, employees and guests in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Centennial Peaks Hospital. The Maintenance Technician’s primary responsibilities are to perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and have a working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair and service. The technician will have the ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action with a great attention to detail. Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services. Hours- 7:00am-3:30pm Monday – Friday with weekend availability and rotating on-call for after-hours emergencies required This position is eligible for our generous shift differentials: Weekend Day (Sat-Sun) $2/hr, Evening (Mon-Thurs) $3.25/hr, Weekend Evening (Fri-Sun) $5.00/hr, Night (Mon-Thurs) $5.00/hr, Weekend Night (Fri-Sun) $7.00/hr. must work three and a half hours (3.5 hours) into a shift to qualify for shift differential. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent Highly Preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license. NO restrictions.
  • Prior maintenance experience in a hospital, health care, or hospitality setting. General experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air conditioning with experience in repairs and maintenance.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of technical or trade school preferred
