Service Technician – Industrial Machinery

Responsibilities include installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, analyzing, while maintaining, repairing, and training of Syntegon Telstar equipment and associated products.
Requirements
- Technical education or 5+ years of hands‑on field service / maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities; safe working practices.
- Experience with industrial equipment in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, food).
- Basic PLC diagnostics and understanding of GMP documentation.
- Independent working style, strong communication skills, customer‑focused mindset.
- Valid driver’s licence and passport.
Nice To Haves
- Experience servicing equipment such as lyophilizers, sterilizers, isolators, or containment systems.
- Experience working in cleanroom or controlled environments.
- Ability to read basic ladder logic or fault diagnostics.
- Multi-lingual (Spanish, German, or French) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, start-up, commissioning, and service of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- Execute preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot motors, pumps, valves, sensors, heaters, PLC I/O, HMIs, and related control components
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions
- Support customer operations by providing equipment operation guidance and basic training.
