About The Position

The Service Technician III is responsible for completing installation, service, and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. This role requires experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial.
• Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.
• Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
• Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
• Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning.
• Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heath pumps and air quality systems.
• Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices.
• High School Diploma Required.
• EPA Certified.
• Valid Drivers’ License.
• Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school preferred.
• OSHA 10 Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenances for a variety of commercial equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset.
• Provide high level customer service.
• Actively participate in NCCER Curriculum.
