The Service Team member at Michaels is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. This role involves operational duties such as truck unloading, merchandise stocking, and maintaining store recovery standards. Key responsibilities also include engaging customers about the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educating them on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, and supporting Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Team members participate in planogram (POGs) processes, merchandise recovery, and general store maintenance. They are also expected to perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties, support shrink and safety programs, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies. The position requires positive and respectful interaction with others and may involve cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production.
