The Service Supervisor (South Texas) will oversee day-to-day operations of the fiber installation crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in fiber installations, and a customer-focused approach. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight: Supervise and coordinate fiber installation crews, daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Plan and schedule installation projects to meet deadlines and customer expectations Team Management: Lead and coordinate the work of construction personnel, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment. Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets specified quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures are followed. Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to address any issues or delays. Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to safety guidelines and regulations, conduct site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards, and quality control checks. Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to resolve issues. Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, engineers, and suppliers, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly. Documentation: Maintain accurate job documentation, including work orders, reports, and inventories Workflow Oversite: Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs Extensive travel required: Monday through Friday to support active project sites. This role requires consistent on-site presence where work is being performed, including overnight hotel stays during the workweek. Home on weekends, project demands permitting.
