About The Position

PurAgain Water is hiring a Service Scheduler to manage daily routing and scheduling for our field technicians.
This role is responsible for assigning jobs, optimizing routes, and ensuring technicians stay fully utilized throughout the day. You will make real-time decisions that impact efficiency, customer experience, and revenue.
This is not a call center or entry-level dispatch role. It requires strong attention to detail, fast decision-making, and the ability to think in terms of time, distance, and priority.

Requirements

• Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Comfortable using maps to estimate travel time and distance
• Fast, accurate decision-making in a time-sensitive environment
• Basic computer proficiency (CRM systems, scheduling tools)
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM

Nice To Haves

• Experience in scheduling, dispatch, logistics, or operations
• Background in field service, delivery, or route planning
• Familiarity with local Southern California geography

Responsibilities

• Review service notes and determine correct job assignments
• Schedule technicians based on location, skillset, and urgency
• Build efficient daily routes using maps, distance, and time windows
• Track and schedule 12-month service replacements accurately
• Maintain 80%+ technician utilization (sit rate)
• Adjust schedules in real time as jobs change or run long
• Communicate clearly with technicians and internal team
• Update CRM with accurate scheduling and service data
