About The Position

Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Service Sales Representative. Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is a privately held corporation with a core focus on generator sales, service, and rental, with ten office locations throughout a five state region consisting of Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is committed to being the preferred leader in the power generation industry, and we are looking for a motivated individual to help fulfill this mission. Position Purpose: The primary responsibility of the Service Sales Representative is to develop new business in the assigned Territory and both maintain and improve relationships with existing and potential service customers. This position is also responsible for following up with customers throughout the selling process, assisting customers with documentation, assisting in formulation of marketing plans for the branch as well as providing weekly contact and quote reports as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the emergency power generation industry
  • Proven track record of closing sales and obtaining new business
  • Strong relationship maintenance
  • Excellent customer follow-up
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and drive for success
  • Must work well in a team environment

  • Be strongly driven by customer satisfaction and retention

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Basic knowledge of diesel and natural gas engine generators or electrical knowledge is a strong plus.
