About The Position
Do you have mechanic experience? Look no further than Wilson Trailer Company, we have a job for you. Come work in an environment that is fast paced! Wilson Trailer is looking for a Service Repair Welder for our Service and Repair Department located in Sioux City, Iowa. As a Service employee, you will diagnose, repair and service trailers in a safe and professional manner. Training for welding is provided.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a standing position and/or walk up to 100% of the time
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl around equipment, and crawl in and out of trailers and to work from ladders
- Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Objects over 50 lbs, use two people.
Responsibilities
- Replace or repair damaged trailers.
- Perform trailer alignments and adjustments, repair and replace brakes, cams and wheel seals
- Welding some steel and aluminum.
