About The Position

What Assembly contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. The Service and Repair Associate II plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Cardinal Health medical products. The Service and Repair Associate II operates multiple machines at once and performs routine inspections of manufactured products in accordance with quality specifications. This job reports defects and works with the quality team to investigate and identify route causes. This job ensures that manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport. The Service and Repair Associate II tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.

Requirements

  • Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
  • Ability to apply Good Documentation Practices (GDP) in daily documentation.
  • Willing to learn how to operate hand tools.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of customer complaint handling process
  • IPC standards background
  • Microsoft Office and Teams knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Product Support, Service, and Repair is responsible for decontamination, troubleshooting, diagnosis and/or repairing Cardinal Health medical devices.
  • Assist with Triaging/Diagnosis and Testing: Equipment functional testing and calibration; including repair.
  • Perform basic electronic component assembly – disassembly knowledge and competence.
  • Ensure adequate stock and handling of all equipment, materials, consumables, and spare parts.
  • Proactively anticipates equipment needs, sets priorities, and meets assigned tasks.
  • Perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, and State and Federal provisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned per business needs, including working overtime as required.
