About The Position

Manufacturing Associates at AUMOVIO operate machines that produce electronic printed circuit boards for automotive radar detection systems. These products are vital for alerting drivers and enhancing road safety. The role requires adherence to established safety, production, and quality procedures, active participation in daily team communications, and diligent maintenance of personal training documentation. Associates are expected to follow and provide input for Standard Work Instructions, perform workstation audits, and respond to abnormal operating conditions. Key responsibilities also include performing preventative maintenance, first response troubleshooting, and minor first-line maintenance activities during line down situations. The position involves ensuring the team meets daily 5S+1, Quality, Delivery, Kaizen, and Cost goals, and employing various problem-solving techniques to achieve permanent corrective actions and continuous improvement within the work cell.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 0-2 years of manufacturing or logistics experience
  • Must be able to read, write & speak English
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required (no sponsorship for employment visas)
  • Relocation will not be provided

Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment and processes
  • Follow established safety, production, and quality procedures
  • Participate in the team’s daily start-up communications meeting, assigns work, and establishes job rotation
  • Maintain personal training documentation/status including any on-the-job training
  • Follow defined Standard Work Instructions (SWI) and provide input for improvement
  • Perform workstation audits and inspections and follow-up on abnormalities
  • Ensure individual compliance for all established policies and procedures
  • Determine and react if operating conditions become abnormal
  • Perform complete preventative maintenance routines utilizing established checklists designed to return the equipment to the original state (training provided)
  • Actively preserve normal conditions of equipment and/or processes
  • Perform first response troubleshooting and minor first line maintenance activities during line down situations.
  • Ensure team achieves daily 5S+1, Quality, Delivery, Kaizen, and Cost goals
  • Employ various problem-solving techniques (5 Why, 8 D, Cause and Effect, and Fishbone Diagrams, etc.) to drive problems to permanent corrective action
  • Participate in teams Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement within the work cell
