About The Position

Entry-level position, 20 Hours Per Week, Monday-Friday in an air-conditioned shop. Perfect for anyone looking to begin a career in the automotive service industry. As an shuttle driver / service porter, you will be responsible for transporting customers , performing cleaning and maintenance tasks around the service department, completing deliveries and errands , and providing assistance to customers and service department employees. This is an entry-level position that provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the automotive service industry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• Able to stand and walk continuously
• Able to operate vehicles safely
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to bend, kneel, and squat, as well as use either or both hands to reach in all directions.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers and their vehicles to and from the service department
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks , such as sweeping floors, emptying trash, and changing lightbulbs
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of service vehicles, such as refueling, washing, and parking
• Deliver parts and supplies to automotive technicians as necessary
• Provide miscellaneous service to customers and service department employees
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
