About The Position

VASCOR is offering you the opportunity to join our team where you will become an asset to the service we deliver to our customers every day. Driveaway Shuttle Driver is responsible for driving and parking vehicles in a safe manner, assisting with basic tasks and ensuring positive customer service experience Shifts Available: 1st shift -7:00 am-5:30 pm Weekend availability required 2nd shift-6:00 pm-2:30 am Weekend availability required What We’re Looking For Ability to follow instructions closely Ability to drive an automatic and standard transmission vehicle Work in all weather conditions, including rain and snow Time-management and multitasking skills to handle multiple vehicles Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safe driving Attention to detail to keep track of all vehicles Trustworthy and responsible with high-value vehicles and flexible in their responsibility What you’ll do: Move vehicles as needed to different yard locations based on moving order provided by leadership. Start vehicles regularly and make sure there aren’t any issues with them. Assist various yards as needed. Perform inspections on vehicles prior to moving them to ensure all damage is noted and reported to the Van Lead. Alert Van Lead of any damages and unusual or reoccurring faults with vehicles. Responsible for all VASCOR-assigned equipment. (In Transit Plates and Placards) Adhere to all Rules of the Road, which includes obeyance of all speed limits. While in the VASCOR storage yards, comply with all safety-related recommendations. Maintain a 4-second gap between vehicles while they are being transported between origin and destination. Maintain a 3-second gap between vehicles while in VASCOR Yards or GFX; this includes when pulling out of a staging area. Advise Van Lead if a vehicle is low on gas, has a flat tire, or has dead batteries. What does Vascor have to offer? Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions closely
  • Ability to drive an automatic and standard transmission vehicle
  • Work in all weather conditions, including rain and snow
  • Time-management and multitasking skills to handle multiple vehicles
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safe driving
  • Attention to detail to keep track of all vehicles
  • Trustworthy and responsible with high-value vehicles and flexible in their responsibility
  • Must have a valid operator’s license
  • Variety of work driving many types of cars and model
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Have a minimum of 6 years of driving experience

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a car porter preferred but not required
  • Customer Service Skills
