About The Position

Job Summary: Responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision. We are looking for a talented Service Parts Parts Associate to join our Distribution business in (Birmingham, AL). Will make an impact in the following ways: Assist Distribution Business customers, technicians, and internal personnel in identifying and securing required parts and supplies Perform customer parts counter duties including receiving calls, greeting walk-in customers, completing paperwork, and processing cash, check, and credit card transactions Utilize systems, catalogs, and other resources to identify, source, and procure parts in a cost- and time-efficient manner Support technicians and other parts personnel with complex parts requests or alternative solutions Maintain accurate records and documentation related to parts transactions, inventory, and core processing Maintain a clean, organized customer parts area and warehouse Identify opportunities to upsell supporting products and services when appropriate Comply with Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies and use required personal protective equipment Perform additional parts-related duties including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and warehouse activities as assigned
