About The Position

ACP, Inc. has an opportunity for a warehouse Service Parts Associate to prepare, assemble, and package service parts and component orders for shipment. Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. ACP designs and manufactures commercial high-speed and microwave ovens used in some of your favorite restaurants! WHO IS ACP, Inc.? WHAT DOES AN ACP, INC. SERVICE PARTS ASSOCIATE DO? You will prepare, assemble and package service parts and component orders for shipment. May perform return authorization (RA) activities, testing and troubleshooting. This will require operating power tools and equipment to assemble parts per instructions; preparing and packaging components, parts and or material for shipment, preparing and applying address labels to packages, cartons, or crates. Operation of material handling and fork truck equipment including picker, to transport various materials and parts; maintaining accurate inventory levels and parts locations; hi-pot testing of service parts; using computer to process transactions into inventory management system, as well as communicating both via phone and email with internal/external customers. Moderate to heavy lifting is required, up to 25 lbs.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Strong work history
  • Fork truck trained or certified, or ability and willingness to learn and be trained on forklift equipment including picker equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Basic keyboarding/computer skills in order to operate shipping system, as well as basic inventory knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • Previous pick/pack/ship and assembly experience desired
  • Previous training or experience reading/interpreting blueprints preferred
