About The Position

Job Summary: Responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision. We are looking for a talented Service Parts Associate to join our Distribution business in (Sumner, WA). We offer competitive pay and benefits! This role will make an impact in the following ways: Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, policies, and procedures while using required personal protective equipment Perform customer parts counter duties, including answering parts calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, completing paperwork, and processing cash, check, and credit card transactions Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers by addressing needs and resolving issues in a timely manner Escalate customer concerns to senior parts personnel or supervisors when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized, and professional customer parts area and warehouse Support other parts personnel with complex parts requests or identifying alternative solutions Utilize systems, catalogs, and available resources while collaborating with technicians to source parts efficiently and cost-effectively Identify opportunities to upsell related products and services when appropriate Perform additional duties as assigned, including inventory management, stock level control, shipping and receiving, warehouse activities, and core processing Cummins is an equal opportunity employer.
