Automotive Service Manager Mahalak Auto Group is seeking an experienced, results-driven Automotive Service Manager to lead our Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram FIAT of Winter Haven Service Department and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Requirements

  • Proven experience in Automotive Service Management
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and hold teams accountable
  • Exceptional customer service mindset and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with automotive service software; Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and efficiency
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations of the Service Department, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity
  • Schedule and assign service appointments to technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly and professionally resolving concerns and escalations
  • Develop and implement service policies and procedures that improve productivity, customer experience, and profitability
  • Hire, train, coach, and lead a team of automotive technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development support
  • Collaborate with Sales, Parts, and Finance teams to ensure seamless communication and customer service
  • Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and service advancements, implementing improvements as appropriate
  • Ensure accurate and thorough service documentation, including repair orders, maintenance histories, and warranty records
