About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Service Manager at their rental facility in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves leading a team of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians (Mechanics) and utilizing the proprietary T3 platform technology to manage work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues efficiently. Requirements

  • Industry knowledge (rental industry or a related construction field)
  • Innovative and dependable
  • Ideally three years of maintenance and service experience
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Adaptable to the fast pace of a growing company
  • Ability to quickly educate themselves about and stay up-to-date on the latest EquipmentShare products and services
  • Competitive, but thrive in a team oriented environment
  • High School diploma
  • Experience leading maintenance teams
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Pass a 10 panel drug screen (contingent on offer)
  • Pass a background check (contingent on employment)

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school certificate
  • Experience in field service, maintenance and repair
  • Experience and/or a background in the construction industry

Responsibilities

  • Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders
  • Track machine service intervals
  • Order parts
  • Diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models
  • Determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly
  • Coordinate and supervise the quality performance of equipment mechanics and service personnel
  • Schedule repairs for customer and company owned rental equipment
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure that customers are 100% satisfied with the level of service and support
  • Keep customers up-to-date about new or additional ways in which EquipmentShare can help improve their business
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints or other communications
  • Provide employee training and development
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform other duties, assigned as needed
