About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead and manage our service teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring service quality, improving processes, managing resources, and maintaining positive client relationships. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and management skills, preferably with experience in the HVAC industry.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in management, with a preference for 5+ years in the HVAC/mechanical industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to monitor calls after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level of computer skills.
  • High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing any trade is beneficial if not from the HVAC industry.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hiring, training, managing, and evaluating service teams.
  • Ensure services meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Manage resources such as equipment and materials to optimize service delivery.
  • Handle customer inquiries, address complaints, and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Coordinate schedules and logistics to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assess performance of servicing employees and operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for service personnel.
  • Address service-related problems and find solutions to minimize service disruptions.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
  • Oversee after-hours calls to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Manage and quote requests for proposals submitted from technicians for service work.
  • Manage all fleet vehicles for inspections, oil changes, maintenance, etc., to ensure road readiness and compliance with state standards.
