They are responsible for ensuring proper customer service throughout the store, addressing specific customer issues, and evaluating employee performance for personnel actions like promotion, transfer, or dismissal. The role also involves training and enforcing safety procedures, compiling and understanding managerial data, ordering merchandise, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Additionally, the Service Manager explains store services to potential customers, understands store accounting basics, and adheres to company guidelines.
