About The Position

CarShop, a Penske Automotive Company is seeking an Automotive Service Manager to lead the Service Department operations in handling our customers with prompt, courteous, and excellent service. The Service Manager will focus on maintaining the company culture, which sets CarShop apart from others in the industry, while achieving the inventory productivity goals outlined in the company's Strategic Plan. The Automotive Service Manager is a critical team member in the day-to-day maintenance and advancement of our company values and culture. Proactively manage and increase the efficiencies of the service technicians and coordinators in a team environment through training, mentoring and oversight of scheduling. The Automotive Service Manager will monitor service performance goals, and drive to meet and exceed the goals with integrity. Requirements

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions

  • Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two to three years' service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ASE Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Technician experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
  • Three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
