About The Position
Purcell Tire and Service Centers leading the industry in quality products & service, operational excellence, and people development. As a Service Manager , your mission is to lead your team by combining your in-depth knowledge with your exceptional people skills to supervise and coordinate the activities of auto technicians and tire service technicians. Requirements
- Ability to pass a background & drug screen
- Valid driver’s license
- 3 yr clean MVR with no DUIs
- 6 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth
- Manage the workflow of the service department
- Prepare service estimates
- Maintain customer trust
- Assure customers’ concerns are addressed in the technician’s inspection & findings
- Explain estimates, repairs needed/ recommended, & completion times
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints as they arise
- Foster a good working relationship with parts vendors
- Maintain inventory for back shop supplies
- Assist with the purchase of parts, materials & equipment
- Train service personnel
- Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety in all matters, at all times
- Look for opportunities to improve our products & services
- Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management
