Summary: The Commercial Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the commercial service department. This role involves managing a team of technicians and service advisors, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining safety standards, and driving profitability. The Commercial Service Manager will play a key role in ensuring that all commercial service operations meet the companys quality standards while fostering a positive work environment.

  • Proven experience in managing a team and driving operational success.

Nice To Haves

  • ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is preferred.
  • OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and develop a team of service technicians and advisors.
  • Schedule and coordinate the daily workflow of the service department.
  • Monitor performance and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
  • Customer Service & Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with commercial customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee the efficient operation of the commercial service department, ensuring timely completion of all service orders.
  • Implement and monitor processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of equipment and tools.
  • Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Inventory & Supplier Coordination: Oversee inventory levels and ensure the availability of necessary parts and supplies.
  • Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Monitor inventory usage and adjust orders as necessary.
