About The Position

Vermeer All Roads in Charlotte, NC is searching for a customer-focused professional who is ready to make an impact as a Service Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the service department, controlling costs, creating strong customer relationships, and assisting in setting and achieving sales and profit objectives. Additionally, the Service Manager will address customer concerns and ensure all service work is performed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous shop management experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to motivate employees
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Prior mechanic/technician experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the entire service department’s performance
  • Continually observe and mentor Service Writers to enforce good habits and ensure exceptional customer service
  • Communicate and dispatch service work to technicians
  • Maintain and build customer relationships
  • Work successfully with Service Writers and Technicians within the Service Department
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
