About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Service Manager for their rental facility in Santa Ana, CA. This role is crucial for building the future of construction by transforming the industry with innovative technology, real-time support, and a dedicated team. The Service Manager will lead a team of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians (Mechanics) and will utilize EquipmentShare's proprietary T3 platform to manage work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues efficiently by leveraging data from various equipment makes and models. Requirements

  • Industry knowledge (this can be in the rental industry or a related construction field)
  • Innovative and dependable
  • Ideally three years of maintenance and service experience
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Adaptable to the fast pace of a growing company and be able to quickly educate themselves about and stay up-to-date on the latest EquipmentShare products and services
  • Competitive, but thrive in a team oriented environment
  • Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
  • High School diploma
  • Experience leading maintenance teams
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Passing a 10 panel drug screen (safety sensitive position)
  • Passing a background check

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school certificate preferred
  • Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
  • Preference will be given to applicants with experience and/or a background in the construction industry

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and supervision of quality performance of our equipment mechanics and service personnel
  • Scheduling repairs for customer and company owned rental equipment
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure that our customers are 100% satisfied with the level of service and support they are receiving from EquipmentShare and are being kept up-to-date about new or additional ways in which EquipmentShare can help improve their business
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints or other communications
  • Employee training and development and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Other duties, assigned as needed
